Join us for a day of learning, connection, and exploration focused on sustaining our landscapes through thoughtful forest stewardship. The conference will feature guided tours and conversations with forestry experts, conservationists, and local leaders.

Tour A: Picone & Pratt Farms
Community gardens, farmland protection, forestry, & scenic trails.

Tour B: Pratt Farm & Red Meadow Cranberry Bog
Trail walks & forestry, and a close look at cranberry cultivation and harvesting.

Tour C: Frederick Weston Memorial Forest & Benson's Pond Cranberry Bog
See forest enhancement practices and a working bog.

A Tradition with Deep Roots
The Town Forest Conference began in 1928 and was revived in 2013 to honor the 100th anniversary of the Massachusetts Town Forest Act. Each year celebrates the host community’s unique forest heritage and practical stewardship.
